Last year Bernie Ecclestone’s light-hearted annual Christmas card depicted Max Mosley with a whip, this year it is Flavio Briatore who gets the biggest roasting – he is depicted with a rocket launcher trying to blow up a boat with Max Mosley on.

On the boat sailing into the distance with Mosley are the other people departing F1 – BMW boss Mario Theissen and Toyota’s John Howett.

Back on land all of the other team principals are waving goodbye to those on the boat, with Bernie Ecclestone sat in the background in a beach hut.
