Both Jenson Button and Ross Brawn have been honoured in the Queen’s New Year honours list, with Button being appointed MBE and Ross Brawn an OBE.

Jenson Button who won the 2009 World Championship driving for Ross Brawn’s Brawn GP team said:

“This really is the crowning glory to what has been the most incredible year of my life.

“To be recognised by the Queen and the British people is a tremendous honour.”
