It’s back! We are pleased to announce that the An F1 Blog Predictions Championship is back for another year in 2011, with prizes again being kindly supplied by the Mercedes GP sponsor Henri Lloyd. Finish in the top three at the end of the season and win yourself some F1 merchandise – simple as that!

How the points are scored

You predict pole position, and positions 1-5 in the race. You can make your predictions on the Thursday before the Grand Prix, until the start of Qualifying on Saturday (so the smartest ones will be waiting until after third practice before predicting!). You will make your predictions in a blog post which will be posted once the predictions for each Grand Prix are open. Following the Grand Prix, there will be another blog post showing the Predictions Championship standings.

You can make your predictions at any race throughout the season, but to maximise your chance of winning our great prizes, try to predict as many races as you can! Make sure you use your real email when making your prediction so we can let you know if you have won, and be certain to enter the same email and name for every Grand Prix prediction you make, so as not to confuse our system.
