Jack Sargeant On January - 27 - 2010

Both McLaren and Ferrari will stream their 2010 car launches live on the internet.

McLaren will be launching their 2010 car, the MP4-25, at Vodafone UK’s headquarters in Newbury on Friday January 29. They have already set up the website where the launch will be held – http://carlaunch.mclaren.com

Ferrari will also be launching their car online tomorrow morning, at 09:30 GMT. Stefano Domenicali, Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo will all speak at the ceremony. There will be press conference featuring the Scuderia’s technicians and drivers, and, weather permitting, the first footage of the new car lapping at Fiorano in a promotional video, will also be shown live in the afternoon.

However it seems that Ferrari’s launch has been spoiled somewhat by the Spanish newspaper Marca, who claims to have published images of the 2010 Ferrari – An F1 Blog readers seem to think the images are real, but we will find out tomorrow morning on http://www.ferrari.com

All of the announced car launches are in our calendar. There will be images and video on the site after each launch.
