Ferrari yesterday unveiled
their new logo to be used in the 2011 season. It was presented by drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa at Silverstone on Thursday.
The new logo sees the controversial Marlboro barcode removed and with an angular, white border with considerable white flashes in-keeping with their title sponsor Santander.
The name ‘Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro’ will continue into 2011, and although there is no actual Marlboro logo, they are still shelling out on a huge amount of money to sponsor the team. In my view, this logo screams cigarettes more than any ‘barcode’, as to me it looks like a packet of Marlboro, and is a very clever marketing job from the Maranello outfit.
What do you think? Do you think it still looks like a Marlboro sponsorship logo or are people wishing it is something it’s not? Leave a comment!

I think it looks really good.
So, I hate the team, but like the logo. Amazing, lol.
