Caterham’s Heikki Kovalainen has received a five place grid drop for next week’s Malaysian Grand Prix, after overtaking under the safety car in yesterday’s Melbourne race.

For the second consecutive year HRT will not be able to start the first Grand Prix of the season, after both drivers qualified outside the 107% time.

Red Bull have today revealed the car that they have produced to try to defend their Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship titles in 2012 – the RB8.

Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez have today revealed the C31, in which they will contest the 2012 season. The car was launched at the Jerez test circuit in Spain.
